Marilyn Elaine La Mar

Marilyn Elaine La Mar, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Community Hospital East. Marilyn was born April 12, 1953 in Richmond, Indiana the daughter of Chester and Mary (Merrill) Theobald. Marilyn graduated from high school in Richmond and attended Wishard Hospital School of Nursing in Indianapolis. Marilyn finished her nursing studies and graduated from Vincennes University School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse. Marilyn was a Registered Nurse with Community Hospital Network. Marilyn was also an strong advocate for animals, being actively involved and a financial supporter of the National Wildlife Federation, the ASPCA and the local humane society. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Robert Lamar; daughter, Caty Theobald; granddaughter, Mariah Theobald; brother, Stan Theobald; and nieces. A Private Celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
