Marilyn Ann (Sutton) Connolly

Marilyn Ann (Sutton) Connolly,58, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday at her home. She was born in Long Beach, CA the daughter of Gordon and Helen Sutton Powell.
She graduated from John Marshall High School with the Class of 1975 and was a Teller with Chase Bank. She had also worked at the Rand McNally Book Bindery and JC Penney. Marilyn was known for her giving heart, everyone else came first. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Christian. She was preceded in death by her father in 2001 and her brother Philip Gordon Sutton in 1984.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tom Connolly, Sr.; children, Tom Connolly, Jr. (Sara) of Brownsburg, IN, Tracy Dyer (Christopher) of Hahira, GA and Kevin Connolly (Angela) of Cincinnati, OH; her mother, Helen Sutton (Davis) Powell (John) of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren, Tom Connolly, III, Mackenzie Dyer, Kimberly Dyer, Collin Connolly and a grandchild expected in January; siblings, Judy Sutton Walker of Gastonia, NC, Micah Sutton of Indianapolis, IN, Sharon Joyce Sutton of Greenfield and Timothy Sutton (Angie) of Greenfield. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4:00 8:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
