Marilu Kathleen Propps

Marilu Kathleen Propps, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 2^nd, 2021. She was born to the late Roland and Elizabeth “Betty” (Clegg) Propps on February 16^th, 1942.

Marilu was a Howe Alumni graduating in 1960 and helped with the Alumni Association after. She was a self-employed business owner. She found herself working for Good Shepard United Methodist and was with them for over 10 years.

Marilu was a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by her family. She fiercely loved her children and grandchildren, and valued spending time with them more than anything. Marilu loved to play games, especially Backgammon and Euchre. She enjoyed laughing at and telling corny jokes.

Marilu is survived by her son Kyle Gibson (Lisa) of Pendleton, IN; grandchildren Garrett Gibson, Abigail Vaughn, and Kylie Gibson all of Indianapolis, IN; brother George Propps of Fort Myers, FL; sister-in-law Maggie Propps of Lexington, KY; and significant other Loren Seils of Indianapolis, IN.

She is preceded death by her daughter Beth Vaughn of Indianapolis, IN and her brother David Propps of Lexington, KY.

Services will be entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
