Marie Pickens, 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014. She was born July 20, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to the late Michael and Anna Madden Schwartz.
Marie and her husband Donald loved going on vacation together, especially skiing – in fact, that is where they met over 40 years ago. Marie was also the Retired Executive Director for the Hoosier Capital Girl Scouts.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Donald Pickens, a brother Ed Schwartz, and many other friends and relatives.
