Marie Nicholas

Marie Nicholas of Speedway passed away December 28, 2010 on her 84th birthday. She was born in Sharps Chapel TN on December 28, 1926 to Verlin V. and Haley Beatrice Brantley Weaver. Marie was a member of the Chapel Rock Christian Church and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Eva B. Weaver, Cleo Holley. Marie is survived by her husband Harold E. Nicholas, son Dennis and his wife Linda Nicholas, son Gary and his wife Georgiana Nicholas, brothers; Paul E. Weaver of Knoxville, TN., and Chalmer L. Weaver of Bulls Gap, TN., sisters; Zella M. Perry of Danville, IN., Faye Reynolds of Lenoir City, TN., and Gail Shultz of Knoxville, TN., 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation for will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Floral Park 425 N. Holt Rd. A funeral service will be at 9 AM Friday at the funeral center with entombment to follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
