Marie Antoinette (Cennamo) Guiliano, age 95 of Indianapolis, Indiana, formally from New York passed away on Saturday morning, April 13, 2024 in her daughter Maria’s residence in Indianapolis. She moved to Indiana in 2018 to be closer to Maria and live out her remaining years. 

 

Marie was born on April 26, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Sam and Grace Cennamo. She has two sisters, Carmela Prisco and Dolores Santomauro. She has one brother, Angelo Cennamo.

 

 She married Joseph Vinent Guiliano on September 1, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York.   He preceded her in death on October 27, 2016.

 

She is the mother to 10 children.  Nine children survive and one daughter precedes in death.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Lynn Longo (husband Vincent).

 

She is survived by her nine children: Bobby Guiliano (wife Margeret) of Orlando, Florida, Diana Neunzig (husband George) of Levittown, New York, Vincent Guiliano (wife Donna) of Mineola, New York, Rita Mauro (husband Vincent) of Bethpage, New York, Maria Grauemmerich (husband Bob) of Indianpolis, Indiana, Susan Ulrich (husband Dan) of Renton, Washington, Grace Morton (husband Alan) of Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, Donna Fonnest (husband Roger) of Patchoque, New York, and Rose Guiliano (fiance Rob) of Northport, New York.


She is survived by her 20 grandchildren: Vincent, Kimberly, Steven, Eric, Michelle, Michael, Nicole, Laura, Melissa, Tiffany, Ashley, Kimberly, Ryan, Matthew, Tina, Joey, Crystal, Patrick, Christopher and Michael. 

 

She is survived by her four stepchildren: Christopher, Curtis, Danielle, Amanda. 


She is survived by nine great grandchildren: Nicholas, Isabella, Mia, Maxwell, June, Stella, Lana, Hannah and Aliyana.

 

She is preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Santomauro, Daughter-in-law Donna, wife of Vincent Guiliano and grandchild Alison, stepdaughter of Susan Ulrich. 

 

 Marie was born in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to Hicksville, New York with her late husband, Joseph and there they raised their 10 children.  They moved to Riverhead, New York once Joseph retired. She was a faithful housewife and a hard-working mother.  She loved unconditionally. She loved Christmas especially when Santa visited our home.  She loved gardening, going to the casino, watching Cowboy & Indian movies as well as Asian action films.  She made huge Italian meals while my dad was barbequing chicken, she loved helping others. In her later years and until she could physical no longer do it she loved hustling side jobs even mowing her neighbors lawns just to get a few bucks.  Sneaky money is what she would call it.  Marie was one of a kind and will be missed by many. 

 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46229.

 

A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM.


Cremation Rites will be accorded after services.

A Celebration of Marie's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Greenwood Village Clubhouse - located at 1661 Old Country Road, Riverhead, New York 11901. 

Burial will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York.
