Marie E. Strack Bowden

Marie E. Bowden age 85 of Evansville formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on May 8, 2012. Marie worked with the State of Indiana as Tax Examiner for 11 years. She was preceded in death by her husband James Bowden and parents. Marie is survived by her children, Shirley (Don) Gingrich, Mike (Robin) Cocherell, Janet (Mike) Andrew, Robert (Cheryl), Jim (Celeste) Bowden and Barbara (Ronnie Huerta) Bowden, grandchildren Kim Whitaker, Brett Cocherell, Erin Mackey, Michael Gingrich, Joe Satterlee, James Cocherell, Kelley Frame, Rachel Misch, Nathan Andrew, Chris Andrew, Joshua Andrew, Nicole Bowden, and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8 pm at Flanner and Buchanan –Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street. Funeral services will be Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1 pm at the funeral center. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess Hospice, 600 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47747.
