Marianne Baron

Marianne Baron, 68, a resident of Zionsville for 33 years, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. She was born on February 23, 1955, to Gordon and Ann Miller in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Marianne was a very caring, loving, and loyal wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She showed her love through her wonderful cooking and spontaneous teaching. She loved to spend time with her family, read books, play card games, learn about history, and work on craft projects. She cared about her family very much and it showed in everything she did.

Marianne and Wally just celebrated their 45^th wedding anniversary. They met at Slippery Rock State College where Marianne graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Special Education. Marianne loved swimming and spent her summers teaching swim lessons and being a lifeguard.

She is survived by her husband Walter; brothers Ed and Gary; sister Joan; daughters Sarah (Whitestown), Amy (Westfield), Emily (Willow Springs, NC); sons-in-law Anthony and Jason; and granddaughters Madison (7), Harper (5), Kennedy (4), and Mackenzie (3). Marianne was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Ann Miller, and her sister Nancy.
