Marianne (Rasnake) Barber, 53, passed away December 29, 2025, at home surrounded by family. She was born March 25, 1972, in Noblesville.
Marianne loved boating, skiing, swimming, and being at the lake, and also loved camping out in the wild. She was an avid baker and had her own baking business for a while. Gardening was another one of her hobbies.
She loved taking her nieces and nephews to haunted houses on Halloween, amusement parks, making Christmas cookies and having baking sessions with all the kids in the family on Cookie Days. Marianne put up a valiant fight against ALS.
She is survived by her husband Garland Barber; Stepchildren Garland R. Barber and Starla (Brad) Baker; mother Norma Lou (Burris) Rasnake; brothers Brad (Sandi) Rasnake, Gary Rasnake, and Michael Rasnake; nieces Kasandra Miller, Kendra Rasnake, and Danielle Rasnake; nephews Nathan Rasnake and Wesley Rasnake; great-nieces Hadley Miller and Kinsey Miller; great-nephew Korbyn Rasnake; and step-grandchildren Landen, Adalen, Landrie, Lynnix, Callie, and Attlie.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Rasnake.
