Marian Lucille Smith Conour

Marian Lucille Conour 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. She was born February 7, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Fred and Sadie (Koldyke) Smith. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School and attended Butler University. Marian was married 63 years to William E. Conour, a veteran of WWII and The Korean War, who preceded her in death in 2005. She was employed at Rominger's Insurance Agency on the eastside of Indianapolis. Her brother, James Smith, preceded her in death. Marian worshipped at Cornerstone Christian Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with her beloved family, friends and pets. Her smile, unconditional love, genuine spirit, and willingness to listen to others will be missed. Marian is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jennifer Conour; six grandchildren, Tonja Eagan, Andrea Kiefer, and, Erin, Rachel, Tyler and Elise Conour; four great-grandchildren, Brittany, Derek, and Jared Kiefer, and Jonny Boehm. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 28th at Flanner Buchannan Funeral Center - Washington Park East , 10722 E Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. to service time.
