Maria Renee Sharp

Maria ReneeSharp, 32, of Whiteland passed away unexpectedly March 22, 2016.

She was bornJune 17, 1983 in Yuma, Arizona to Denise (Pozdol) and Manuel Mercado.

Maria had acareer as an RN Cardiothoracic Surgical Technician and organ donor transporterwith Core 5 at IU Health Methodist Hospital where she was known for her hugefull-body hugs, beautiful infectious smile and bubbly personality. Maria wasdearly loved and will be missed by her wonderful extended OR family. She alsovolunteered at the Southside Animal Shelter where she gave her love andattention to all the animals who she so dearly loved and enjoyed. Maria alongwith Jordan members of Whiteland Church of Christ.

Maria issurvived by her loving and devoted husband, Jordan; loving and caring parents,Manuel and Denise Mercado; best friend and loving sister, Kimmy Mercado; extremelyloving grandmother, Marge Pozdol; mother-in-law, Terri Sharp; brother-in-law,Jason Sharp and her dog, Butters and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Maria alsodearly loved, cared and played with her Fur-brothers, Sammy and Einstein.

Maria waspreceded in death by her beloved, grandfather, Ted Pozdol and father-in-law, EdSharp.

Visitationwill be 12 pm until service time at 4 pm Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425N. Holt Rd.

In lieu offlowers memorial contributions may be directed to Southside Animal Shelterand/or Wings of Rescue.
