Mari Jo Bair (Crooke), 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 27, 2026.
Born on May 19, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mari Jo was the daughter of John and Mildred Crooke.
She dedicated more than 20 years of service as a Branch Associate with the BMV. On March 26, 2002, she married the love of her life, Kenneth Bair. Mari Jo found joy in the simple pleasures of life—camping, fishing, gardening, painting, and creating ceramics.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Havlin; her daughter, Tammy (Randy) Swindle; grandsons, Justin Bruning, Chad Bruning and his partner Ben; granddaughters, Samantha Williams and Stevi Williams; and three great‑granddaughters, Serenity, Hailey, and Julian.
Mari Jo was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth Bair.
She will be laid to rest beside Kenneth at Washington Park East Cemetery.
