Margie Burton Rogers Henderson

Margie Burton Rogers Henderson 85, Brownsburg passed away October 10, 2012 at Brownsburg Health. She was born July 13, 1927 in FrenchLick, IN the daughter of Laura (Charnes) and Harry Burton. Margie had a career as a Registered Nurse working for Chrysler Plainfield Schools and nursing home facilities including 15 years at Lakeview Nursing Home. She also worked as a crisis counselor at TBN. She was a member of Lakeview Christian Church and Eastern Star. Margie enjoyed gardening, cooking and was a women of faith. Margie is survived by her children Dawn Rogers Cordray, (husband-Bruce), Brownsburg, Brad Rogers, (wife-Rebecca), Crawfordsville, Todd Rogers, (wife-Lisa), Brownsburg, and Anne Rogers Schlegel, (husband-Michael), Lyons, CO; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother, Kenneth Burton, (wife-Louise), Bedford; Teri Henderson and family and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John William Rogers, Ray Shelton, and Wayne Henderson; a sister, Lois Burton and brothers, Carl and Howard Burton. A memorial celebration will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road Indianapolis, IN 46222 with gathering of friends from 4:00 P.M. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
