Margie A. Masner

Margie A. Masner, 85, of Lawrence, passed away on October 9, 2021. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Van and Myrtle (Hurt) Hicks on September 19, 1936.

Margie was the matriarch of the family and was the glue that held everyone together. She enjoyed spending time with family and will be sorely missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Gene (Minnie dec) and Wendell (Bobbi).

She is survived by her husband Jerry Masner; children: Patty (David), Mike (Barbie), Homer “Jack” (Lisa), Buffy (Jeff) and Alisha (John); grandchildren: Gary (Michelle), David (Krista), Mike (Amy), Mark, and Angie; 11 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and siblings Stella Mae (Cecil), Darlene (David), Mary Lou (James dec), and Corby (Pauline dec).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, from 3pm to 6pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East.
