Margart Ramage Haworth

Margaret Ramage Haworth, 93, Summerville, SC, passed away on Saturday June 2, 2018 at The Villages of Summerville in Summerville, SC. Margaret was born on May 6, 1925 to George and Bertha Ramage in Cunningham, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Haworth, a brother Thomas Ramage, a sister, Imogene Ramage and a niece, Tammy Haworth. She is survived by her brother, Gary Ramage (Suzie), three nieces, Patricia Allen (Joe), Beverly Hytken (Perry), and Jamie Haworth, along with three great nieces and one great great niece. Margaret was an employee of Eli Lilly & Co. for 39 years, retiring in 1981 as an executive secretary. She was a graduate of Indiana Business College and was active in many civic and business organizations. Of special note, she was a founding member of the Noblesville Chapter of Mended Hearts. Margaret and Earl traveled extensively. They were known for their many acts of kindness and always making their home welcome to family and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday at 12:30PM at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana followed by a service at 1:00PM. The family wished to thank the staff at The Villages of Summerville, Dr. Castalone, his assistants and Intrepid Hospice for excellent care they provided.
