Margaret L. (Shreve) Forster

Magaret L. (Shreve) Forster, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. Margaret was born October 20, 1929 in Indianapolis, IN to Mary Alice (Colvin) and Perry Jessie Honnell Shreve. She supported her husband, Dr. William E. Forster in his ministries at Indiana Baptist College and had been active in the ministries at Camp Berean for many years teaching children’s classes. She had also taught many Sunday school classes and Teacher Training Classes at her church, Burge Terrace Baptist Church. She attended Moody Bible College.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings, Elsie and Mildred Shreve in infancy, James Edward Shreve, Gloria Mae Wright and Luther Donald Shreve.

Margaret is survived by her sisters, Lois Jordan of Indianapolis and MaryLou Wilhite of Greenfield, IN, and her brother, Ronald R. Shreve of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, Friday, February 19, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
