Margaret Frances Johnston

Margaret Frances Johnston died at her home in IndianapolisFeb. 13. She was 96.

Mrs. Johnston was born June 9, 1919, in Cheyenne, Wyo., thedaughter of Francis E. and Margaret B. Hanson. She attended Cheyenne publicschools and the University of Wyoming. She married George P. Johnston Jr. in1941. Mr. Johnston died in 1995.

The Johnstons lived in Cheyenne until 1962, then Denver,Colo. where she was the bookkeeper for the Denver Press Club. She moved to Indianapolis in 1996.

Mrs. Johnston was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority andPEO.

Survivors include her sons, Chris (Shary) of Indianapolis,and Larry (Peggy) of Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren, Graham, Erica,Cameron, and Mallory; and a great-granddaughter, Evelyn.

Private services will follow cremation.
