Margaret Frances Gilbert

Margaret Frances Gilbert 77, passed at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation of Greenfield, on March 22, 2015 went to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born on January 31, 1938 in Glenville, Arkansas the daughter of Henry and Lizzie (Howard) Caldwell. Margaret worked for the Marion County Home for 25 yrs and then moved with them to the Lockefield Village working five yrs until retiring in 1998. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dominoes and going to the casino with the nursing home. She is survived by one son, John Gilbert; two daughters, Debra Engelman and Barbara (David) Curtis; grandchildren, Steven, Sean, Kimberly, Amber, Brian, April, Jaremy, Kurtis, and David; great grandchildren Kevin, Jayden, Jacob, Tonya, Hailey, Joshua, Keira, Kayliegh, Tyler, Landon, Alexis, Noah, Amelia, and Jaylyn; brothers, William Caldwell and Howard Green; sisters, Vera Murray, Linda Revolt, Florence Whitmer, and Sharon Montoya; brother in law, AJ Murray and Henry Murray; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother, Mildred Caldwell; sister, Kathryn Murray; brother, Robert Dale Caldwell; sister in law, Edna Caldwell and brother in law, Donald Revolt; granddaughter, Cherish Bland. Family and Friends may call from 4pm-8pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015 and Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 12:00pm -1:00pm with funeral service at 1:00pm in Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East 10722 E. Washington St. Indianapolis.
