Margaret F. Palmer 92 of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home. Margaret was born October 7, 1920 in Richmond, IN to the late Isaac and Mildred Brisco. She retired in 1978 from the bookkeeping department of L. S. Ayres. Margaret was the first female dispatcher in the Civil Service office in Richmond during WWII. She was a member of the Carmel Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Monday, April 22 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Margaret is survived by her children, Joseph H. Palmer and Mildred Havens; stepchildren, Roger and Russell Palmer and Glenda Wright; four grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Earl Brisco, Edgar Clark and sister, Aletha Brisco Baker.
