Margaret E. 'Mom' Cain

Margaret Ellen Cain (Thorbjornsen), 87, died at her home December 8, 2013. She was born the fourth child of six in Escanaba MI to Mr. and Mrs. Fredrik Thorbjornsen. She attended Nursing School in Chicago IL. She retired from RCA Records after 35 years. She is survived by her brother Ray Thorbjornsen of Escanaba Mi. She leaves 6 children, Karen Rae Rosenberger, Linda Cain Chappell, Kenneth J Cain, Alan Fredrik Cain, Christine Lee Boyles, William Gregory Cain and 50 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Ellen was known to her friends and family as Mom, she was born March 31, 1926, and grew up in Escanaba Mi. She spent most of her life raising her children and grandchildren. She always had a loving dog at her side. Mom spent as much time as she could at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 2837 E. New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46201 or to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268 would be an appropriate and appreciated way to celebrate the love of her faith and animals. Mom's life will be celebrated in a service at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East from 12:00 – 2:00 followed by a private family service and her burial at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
