Margaret Allen

Margaret A. Silvey Duncan Allen, 75 of Indianapolis passed away July 4, 2012. She was a 1954 Shortridge High School graduate and attended Purdue University. Margaret was a probation officer for the Marion County Superior Court for 42 years retiring in 2004. She was a member of Probation Officers Professional Association of Indiana and Riviera Club. She was preceded in death by her husband James C. Allen and grandson Steven Griffith. Margaret is survived by her children James T. (Tammie) Allen, Jeffrey D. (Tina) Duncan, Debbie Lucyk, Steven D. (Maureen) Duncan and Sally A. Griffith; brothers Thomas W.(Margy) and William R. (Cathy) Silvey , and 12 grandchildren. Memorial services will be Wednesday, July11, 6pm Flanner and Buchanan - Broad Ripple, 1305 Broad Ripple Ave. with visitation from 4 to 6pm Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Indiana or The Gathering Together.
