Margaret Alice Kirkpatrick Holman

Margaret Alice Holman 91 of Indianapolis went home to be with the Lord, July 22, 2012. She was born June 27, 1921 to Dennis and Edith Kirkpatrick in Greensburg, IN. Margaret married her loving husband Ralph George Holman in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1993. Margaret helped build the Nordon Bombsite during WWII, which she was very proud of. She then worked at Indiana National Bank and became a homemaker. She was a member of Cumberland Methodist Church and attended Philadelphia Methodist Church in Greenfield. She was a 25 year member of the Moose Lodge. Margaret loved reading, crossword puzzles and listening to music. She always aspired to be a nurse as her passion was showing compassion for people. She will be remembered as the neighbor who always lent a helping hand with love, health and strength. She is survived by her loving daughter Nancy Holman and her beloved cat Sophie. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday, July 26 at Flanner and Buchanan. Interment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
