Margaret Cox
76, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday October 19, 2012. She was born May 9, 1936 to Jim and Juanita Wood in Carthage, TN. She married the love of her life, Leonard Cox, in 1954.
Margaret was a Sales Associate at Saks Fifth Avenue. She was an active member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God for over 40 years. She assisted with the Lady's Prayer group and was a Sunday School Teacher for more than 30 years. She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan, and frequently attended home games with her son-in-law, Bill. She lived life to the fullest and will be remembered most for her out going energetic personality. She loved to travel and was always on the go.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Vickie (William "Bill") Cafaro and Becky (Stanley) Jackson; one granddaughter, Andrea Wilkerson; three great grandchildren, Taylor Jackson, Keith L. Collins, Jr., and Davon Collins.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of over 40 years.
Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Monday, October 22, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday October 23, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E.
