Marcia Kay Stanley

Marcia Kay Stanley of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2026, at 82 years of age. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 6, 1944, to the late Louis and Juanita (Alberts) Easley. Marcia worked for Eli Lilly many years ago, but her family defined her as the best “Professional Homemaker” ever. She lovingly cared for her family and was an excellent cook and baker, creating tasty dishes and treats. Marcia had a hobby of collecting snowmen and has a rather large collection. Her faith was an important aspect of her life and was a member of Garfield Christian Church here in Indianapolis, Indiana for many years. Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Jack Stanley, and her sons, Brett Stanley, and Rex (Angela) Stanley. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Brehob. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and will be from 10:00am-2:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with her Funeral Service there starting at 2:00pm. She will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
