Marcia K. Adkins

Marcia K. Adkins of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 72.

She was born March 21, 1949, in New Castle, IN to the late James Wilbur and Phyllis Hicks.

Marcia graduated at Martinsville High School in Martinsville Indiana and briefly attended Bob Jones University. She worked multiple jobs to support her children. She was passionate about spending time with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included needlepointing, baking, sewing, and a few others. She loved the sound of a guitar being played as it gave her peace. She also loved being outdoors and spending time with the ones she loved.

She is survived by her children Alana (Rick) Fox, Stacey Adkins, and Eddie (Pearl) Adkins. Also survived by 3 brothers:  Jim (Cindy) Hicks, Ross (Judy) Hicks, and Sam (Carol) Hicks, 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her late brother Charles Edward (Chuckie) Hicks.

A private celebration of life will be held Friday, December 31^st at 6pm.
