Marcia Ann Dean

Marcia Ann Dean, age 80 of Indianapolis passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, October 17, 2026 at her home.

Marcia was born on September 22, 1946, a daughter of Ray H. and Frances A. (Frkovich) Bramel. She was one of four children: Jerry, Marcia, Randy, and Tony.

She is survived by her brother Randy (wife Joan) Bramel of San Jancinto, California and Tony (wife Akiko) Bramel of Los Angeles, California.

She was married to Jack C. Dean. He preceded her in death on February 3, 2021.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jerry.

She is survived by her two children: daughter Alicia Dean of Indianapolis and son Jack (wife Maeve) Dean Jr. of Plainfield, IN.

As well as her two very special grandchildren: Olivia and Carl.

Marcia grew up between Hillsboro, IL and Avon, IN. She graduated from Avon High School in the class of 1964.

She was a stay at home mother who raised her children. She was also an avid reader.

She greatly enjoyed bowling and bowled on two different bowling leagues, one for over 40 years and the other for over 20 years.

Most importantly Marcia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister fwho cared deeply for her family. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Marcia's life will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Floral Park Funeral Center, located at 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.

A time of gathering and visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service, 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM.
