Madeline Heaton

Madeline Lorraine Griebenow Heaton 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 12, 2014. Madeline was born on June 29, 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a graduate of Southport High School. She was a homemaker, dental assistant and a long-time veterinarian's assistant. She was a member of the Eastern Star, St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Floyd Heaton; sister, Mary Ellen Hoban; father, Ralph Griebenow; mother, Mary Griebenow Moller and step-father, Niels Pete Moller. She is survived by her children, Kent Heaton and Mary Heaton McCorkle; sister, Geraldine Wilder, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. in St. Paual's Episcopal Church, 6050 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
