Mabel Christine Ridener, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home. Mabel was born May 28, 1933 in London, Kentucky the daughter of Jimmie and Pearl (Hale) Asher. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and taught crafts for many years there. She had worked at Blocks and L.S. Ayers before her family came along. She was a devoted housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband William J. Ridener.
Mabel is survived by her son, Stephen Ridener of Indianapolis, her daughters, Teresa Bruce of Avon and Angela Cruz of Vacaville, CA; 5 grandchildren, David Foncannon, Ricky Bruce, Jr., Christina Bruce, Joshua and Rodger Ridener; 3 great-grandchildren, Haley, Dylon and Payton Ridener; her borther, Ted Asher of Arizona; her sister, Stella Rogers of Indianapolis.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 23, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6350 S. Mooresville Rd. Indianapolis, IN, Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. on Sunday at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46222, where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM. Entombment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
