Mabel Malone Webb

Mabel Malone Webb was born on a farm near Letts, Indiana, Decatur County January 6, 1919. She graduated from Letts High School and Spencer Business College. She moved to Indianapolis in 1942 and worked 38 years in the accounting department of the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, retiring in 1983. She then worked 10 years for Allied Grocers/Preston Safeway, retiring in 1993. She was a former ballroom dance teacher and a member of the Athenaeum Pops Orchestra. She was a member of the Athenaeum Foundation and the Athenaeum Turners. She was a member of Roberts Park United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School there for several years. She is survived by 2 cousins, Carlos and Luella Webb. A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:30pm at Mount Aerie Cemetery in Letts Corner, Decatur County, Indiana. Arrangements entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Broad Ripple.
