Mabel Louise Vice

Mabel L. Vice, 92, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away December 13, 2018. She was born February 7, 1926 in Greene County, Indiana to Carl and Ethel Burns.

She is preceded in death by parents, Carl and Ethel Burns; sisters, Norma Chastain, Edna Rousey; brother,  William Burns; husbands, Robert Scott, Dale Chaplin, and Harold Vice; grandson, Timothy Hintzman; granddaughter, Melissa Burton. Surviving to cherish her memory are children, Glenda (Alvaro) Sampson Ramirez, Nina (Phil) Henderson, Anise Chaplin, Anita Chaplin Shultz, Daniel Scott; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson.

She worked for Standard Grocery and Indiana National Bank. She was a born-again Christian who enjoyed helping her church community.

Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, December 19 from 11-1 PM at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46221. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM. Mabel will be laid to rest immediately following services at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
