M. Louise Perkins

Louise Perkins, 97, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at Marquette Manor in Indianapolis. Louise was born on July 26, 1924, in Fairbury, Illinois, the second of three children born to Aaron and Mabel Hirstein. Her parents, sister Betty, and brother Robert preceded her in death.

She moved to Indianapolis in the 1940s, where she met and married Robert P. Perkins on May 25, 1946. He preceded her in death. Louise is survived by their three children: Sally J. Robison (Tom), Stephen W. Perkins (Andrea), and Robert L. Perkins (Lixia). Other survivors include 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 4 nieces and nephews.

Louise was a secretary in an Indianapolis law firm and at Delaware Trails School in the 1960s. She was a charter member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
A family memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19 at noon at Flanner Buchanan-Washington Park North 2706 Kessler Blvd W. Dr. Indianapolis.
