M. Gail Jonson

M.Gail Jonson, 79, Carmel, passed away February 1, 2016. She was born March21, 1936, in Sylva, NC, the daughter of Fred Webber and Madge (Wilson)Webber. She married Stanley Jonson on May 21, 1955.

Shewas a longtime and active member of East 91^st Street ChristianChurch, where she organized and lead women’s bible studies for 20 years. She was a founding member and leader of Creative Living Bible Study. Sheenjoyed playing golf, sewing, quilting, and was an avid reader.

Sheis survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Stanley Jonson; mother, MadgeWebber; two children, Curtis (Vicki) Jonson and Kimberly (Jon) Sorrells; fourgrandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole, Ryan, and Abi; and three great grandchildren,Emmitt, Kevin, and Liam; brother, Fred (Charlotte) Webber; and extended familyin Sylva, NC. She was preceded in passing by her father, Fred Webber.

Serviceswill be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016, at East 91^st StreetChristian Church, 6049 East 91^st Street. Visitation will befrom 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2015, at the church.
