M. Carolyn Alexander

M. Carolyn (Greiner) Alexander 82, of Indianapolis, passed away February 22, 2014. Born March 28, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late Christian and Esther Greiner. Survivors include four children, Carol "Boots," John (Anne), Kerry(Monica) and Laurie O'Brien; eight grandchildren, Katie and Megan Cancila, Colleen, John, Ellen and Owen O'Brien, Sean and Maggie O'Brien; four great grandchildren, Charlie and Eleanor Semler, Ruby O'Brien, and Ezra Krieg; two brothers, Chris J.(Maxine) and Vincent B.(Sudi) Greiner; sister, Sue Ann McShay. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Alexander in 1998, and brother, Daniel Greiner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday February 27, 2014 at 11 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street. Entombment to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
