Lurlean R. "Cookie" Wilson

Cookie was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Carmel, IN.  She volunteered for many years at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas, and has been a volunteer at IU North Hospital in Carmel.  Cookie was an avid gardener and loved the outdoors. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 27 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where family and friends may gather from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass.  Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Cookie was the widow of Charles S. Wilson.  She is survived by her daughters, Melodie (David) Brooks and Monica (Max) Krieg; grandchildren, Richard Krieg, Francis Krieg, Rianna Krieg, Rylan Krieg; Siblings Ada (Mike) Hamilton, Rose (Keith) Simpson, Lavern (Lee) Crump, Derek (Joyce) Rogers, Lester (Benda) Rogers, Johnny (Debbie) Smith; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Ivery Dixon, and brothers, Trennie Rogers, Donnie Rogers, Cecil Smith, Jr, and Chris Smith.
