Lucy Alice Chitwood

Lucy Alice Chitwood 86, of Avon, passed away June 4, 2012. She was born September 9, 1925 in Morganfield, Kentucky to John M. and Myrtle M. Falk. Lucy was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church and former employee of Arzman's Market. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cyril "Leon" Chitwood, a son William Leon and 9 siblings. Lucy is survived by her 3 children, Joyce (Richard) Wallace, Jerry Chitwood and Pam (Paul) Taylor, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Her legacy is not in death, but in the way she lived her life. The funeral will be Thursday at 3 PM at Flanner and Bu chanan - Floral Park, with visitation from 11AM until time of service.
