Lucille Helen Auble
93, of Indianapolis passed away on December 11, 2014. Lucille was born on April 12, 1921 to Harry and Florence Cubel in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of Manual High School and worked briefly at Eli Lilly. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Harold and sisters Betty and Jean. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 72 years Damon R Auble; sons, David (Peggy), Mark (Karen) and Paul (Jennie) Auble; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and Brother Harry (Diane) of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is also survived by a large extended family of nieces, nephews and 3 special family members: Roberta Auble, Merlin Outcalt and Carolyn Barnes.
Lucille was an active member of Northminster Presbyterian Church for 56 years, serving as an Elder and Sunday school teacher and loved and cherished her amazing SNIBS group. She was an avid bridge player, incredible seamstress and a dedicated family camper her entire life. Special thanks to the staff and residents for their caring and concern and to Ida Ware for the love and compassion she demonstrated.
Private graveside services will be held on Monday morning with a visitation from 12:30 to 2:00 and memorial service immediately following at Northminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the church for youth programs.
