Lucile M. Roach

Lucile M. Roach, 95, Indianapolis passed away January 2, 2014 at Eagle Creek Transitional Care. She was born January 8, 1918 in Indianapolis the daughter of the late Anna Margaret (Leffel) and Harry Lee Sumner. Lucile's life work was ministering to people. She enjoyed activities at church, playing euchre and collecting her dolls, bells, and tea cups. Lucile is survived by sons, George (Kathy) Roach and Lester Keith (Rita) Roach; Nancy Mathis; grandchildren, Anthony (Deb) Roach, Jennifer (John) Botkin, Malinda (Jerry) Zumer, David (Sandy) Roach, DeAnna (Mark) Joseph, Michael (Laura) Roach, Larry (Sherry) Nesbit, Traci (Tom) Pipes, and Rebecca Patterson; numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Roach; brothers, Harold (Rose) and Paul (Helen) Sumner and sister, Mae (Austin) Penley. Celebration of life will be on Lucile's 96th Birthday at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd.
