Luanne Kay Fast

Luanne Fast 56, Indianapolis, IN went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2011. She was born on January 31, 1955 in Mountain Lake, MN to Esther and the late Peter Fast. Luanne enjoyed life to the fullest. Everyone and everything was a new adventure. Some of her most precious times were spent with her mentee-Hannah. She especially took pleasure in teaching her how to sew. Luanne loved her crafts and sewing projects including her monthly craft club meetings. She loved her work as a Sales Representative for Phase II. All the store employees looked forward to her scheduled visits and her creativity. She is grateful for sharing her life with her friends at First Mennonite Church. She also contributed many hours and talents to Global Gifts store as a volunteer. She traveled to many countries with friends. Family gatherings were always a highlight for Luanne. She is survived by her mother, Esther, a brother, Loren Fast (Lorraine), two sisters, Loretta Fast-Harger (Dave) and Lynette Ensz (Tom), 11 of her beloved nieces and nephews, and many, many caring friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter. Visitation with Luanne's family and friends will be Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 9:00-11:00a.m. at First Mennonite Church. The memorial service will also be at First Mennonite Church at 11:00a.m. with lunch following.
