Louise Margurete (Maar) Patrick, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 2, 2016, at the age of 94.
Louise was born in Indianapolis on July 13, 1921, to the Late Fredrick and Katherine (Mayer) Marr. She married Marion “Pat” Patrick on November 19, 1941, and spent many years traveling around the country with him while he trained in the Army Air Corps. They settled on the east side of Indianapolis, where she was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother to their two daughters. She spent her time gardening, canning, volunteering with the Busy Bees, and worked on elaborate homemade scrapbooks. When her children were older, she worked at RCA in the data entry department, and maintained the house she built with her beloved husband. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, joining the parish in 1948.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, her son-on-law, Don Limbach, her grandson Doug Limbach, her brothers; Fred Maar, Robert “Bob” Maar, her step-mother, her four step-brothers, and her step-sister. Louise is survived by her daughters; Markita Wade (Thomas), Marilou Limbach, her Grandchildren; Pat Limbach (Kay), Annette Honan (Mike), Chad Wade, and Nathan Wade, and her five Great-Grandchildren; Taylor Limbach, Riley Limbach, Ashley Honan, Jake Honan, and Megan Honan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016, from 1:00pm – 2:30pm, with a Funeral Service at 2:30pm. Services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis.
