Louise Carl Stiffler

Louise C. Stiffler Age 97 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Born Jan 14, 1914 to the late Allen and Nora (Rose) Carl in Bedford, PA. Louise graduated from Bedford High School and in June 1935 went to work for the G.C. Murphy Company as a salesperson. Louise worked her way up to Division Personnel Supervisor where she retired in January of 1979. Louise married the late J. Donald Stiffler in February 1951 and they moved to Indianapolis in January of 1953. Louise was active in the North Park Chapter Order of the Eastern Star now affiliated with Corinthian Chapter and the Church of the Brethren on East 46th Street. Louise is survived by one brother, Donald Carl and one sister, Virginia Beegle. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Alene Laske, Mary Casteel and Maxine Turner. Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Center-Washington Park East, with Order of the Eastern Star Service at 6:30p. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11 am from the funeral center with visitation at 10 am. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
