Lorraine Suzanne (Tres) Welter 85 of Indianapolis died January 06, 2013. Lorraine was born on January 27, 1927 in Chicago, Il to John and Catherine Tres. Lorraine was a member of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #497 and V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #98. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Frank Welter in 1996, her son Ralph William Welter and her daughter and son in law Dianne Lorraine (Douglas) Hall and her brother John "Jack" Tres and her grandchild Wesley Jones. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday January 10, 2013 at St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church 6000 West 34th Street Indianapolis, IN at 1:00 PM with calling one hour prior to the service. Lorraine is survived by her children Susan M. (Stephen) Murray and Mary C. Roth and her grandchildren Carrie (Dwayne) Loyal, Wendy Jones, Jamison (Tyler) Roth, Caitlin "Catie" (Jace) Rasche, Jenna Roth and Meghan Hall and her brothers Donald Tres and Robert (Janet) Tres. The Welter family would like to share a special Thank You to the staff at Lakeveiw Manor for all the loving care that was given to Lorraine and to the family over the past two years. "You have a special place in our hearts." Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church.
