Lorraine Kendrick

Lorraine A. Kendrick, 72 of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014. Lorraine was born August 29, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Roland and Valeska Brotze. Lorraine worked for the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration as an administrative assistant. Lorraine was a member of Traders Point Church of Christ. She was a master gardener, avid painter and a professional photographer. Her greatest joys in life were being a mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Tommy James Kendrick, who was her 7th grade sweetheart and whom she adored. She is survived by her children, William (Adrienne) and Katherine; grandchildren. Teilhard, Ian and Erin. A brother, Norman Brotze also preceded her in death. Visitation will be held at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel from 1:00 to 3:00pm Friday, April 4, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.
