Loretta "Helen" Carpenter

Loretta “Helen” Taulbee Carpenter
passed away on October 3, 2018 at the age of 85. She was the daughter of Jeff and Ethel Taulbee and was born July 1, 1933. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Lewis Carpenter; her two children, Doug (Teresa) Carpenter of New Palestine, Indiana and Shirley Frauli of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren, Amy (James) Emerson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Stacey Carpenter of Evansville, Indiana; two great-grandchildren, Mason Emerson and Delaney Emerson; and Brother, Jeff (Karen) Taulbee of Jackson, Kentucky.
With her strong southern upbringing, she worked hard all her life. Her devoted Baptist faith guided her way. She loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed children, cooking, gardening and tending to her flowers.
Loretta was preceded in death by her infant son, Nelson Carpenter and her son-in-law, Charles Frauli; her parents, Jeff and Ethel Taulbee; 5 sisters, Mildred, Christine, Freida, Betty and Norma; and one brother, Joel.
