Loretta A. Haffley, 82, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 in Fishers, Indiana. She was born June 2, 1931 in Dugger, Indiana to the late John and Stella Butler Houston.
She worked as a long-distance operator for AT&T for many years, and belonged to the Communications Workers of America and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a member of Emerson Avenue Baptist Church, the Eastern Star, and the Independent Order of Foresters.
Loretta is survived by her children Beth Ann (Daniel) Klingler, Brett J. (Rita) Haffley, and Jamie B. (James) Dodson; grandchildren Nicholas Haffley, Dustin Klingler, Kandace Klingler, Brittany Dodson, Jimmy Dodson, and Hannah Haffley; great-grandchildren Alexander Haffley, Kayla Haffley, and James Deane Dodson; and sister Imogene Miller.
In addition to her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her husband James F. Haffley; and siblings Mary Krug, Ruby Edds; Bob Houston, Billy Houston, and Marilyn Hale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
