Lorena Hodges

Mrs. Lorena Thomas Hodges was the youngest child born to John Wesley and Elizabeth Anderson Thomas (Lizzie) Thomas. Her older brother William preceded her in death.

She received her education in her hometown of Greenwood, Mississippi. She received her degree from Ivy Tech Indy. She confessed Jesus at the early age of eight!  She was baptized at Christ Temple and later attended Word Alive Intl church!  She retired in May 1993 from the medical field.

She married William Henry Hodges in Dec 1953 and to this union six children were born, Elizabeth Howland (Tony), Charles Hodges whom preceded her in death, Vera Buck, William Edward, Clinton also preceded her in death and Denise Rossetti (Alfredo).

Lorena transitioned from this world on October 9, 2023, with her loved ones by her side.

In addition to her children, she leaves to cherish her memory are; Tanisha Edwards, Lolena Cole, Roberta Rivers, Richard Benberry, Danyel Benberry, Adrian Hodges preceded her in death, Cherell Hodges, Wm. Edward Hodges Jr, Michael Rossetti, Nicholas Rossetti and Jasmine Coyle, 16 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren!

Her greatest joy was her family!
