Loren D. Whightsel

Loren D. Whightsel, 80 of Indianapolis was born November 30, 1935 in Effingham, IL the son of the late John and Elsie (Martens) Whightsel. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Sears. Loren was a member of the Garfield Christian Church where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty in 2004.

Loren is survived by his son, Jim Whightsel of Indiana; daughters, Deb Cserep of Oregon and Suzette Whightsel of Indiana; step-sons, Mike LaFavers of Indiana and Daniel LaFavers of Michigan; grandchildren, Chiara, Owen and Robbie Cserep; and his sister Linda Chaney of Illinois.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday. Entombment will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
