Lonnie Dale Mills, Sr.

66, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 27, 2020 in Greenwood, Indiana.  Lonnie was born on February 15, 1954 in Corbin, Kentucky.  He was a Maintenance Manager at Holiday Inn for ten years.  He was also an electrician and had worked in construction.  He enjoyed working on old cars, loved to go fishing, gardening, planting flowers and working in the yard.  He also loved riding the tractor on the farm and grilling out with family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Mills; mother, Goldie (Barton) Mills; brothers, James T. Mills and Arnold Mills; sisters, Anna S. Davis, Judy Kay Mills, Mamie E. Jones, Katherine Mills; sons, Kevin E. Mills and James B. Mills.  He is survived by sisters, Gracie L. Boyd and Marilyn L. Krom; brother, Monte B. Mills; sons, Jason Nibarger, Lonnie Mills, Jr and Anthony B. Mills; daughters-in-law, Arletta Mills and Dawn Mills; brother-in-law, Kenny Boyd; eleven grandchildren, Kyle C. Mills, Jordan Nelson, Joshua, Jordan and Gabrielle Nibarger, Breeanna M. Marcyla D, Zachary S, and Patience R. Mills, Dylan and Chris Howard.  Five great-grandchildren, Christian S and Damien Mills, Corbin and Carson Nibarger and Raelynn Fowler; six nieces; eleven nephews; thirty great nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.  Services will be private.
