Londa L. Cantrell, 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She was born on February 27, 1948
to James and Margaret McKinsey. Londa grew up in Indianapolis, IN and attended Arsenal Tech High School. Londa was a homemaker, a teacher's aide, and also worked many years for Sam's Club. She retired in 2009.
Londa married Buddy E. Cantrell on September 10, 1966. Shortly thereafter, they moved to
New Palestine, IN where their two children were born and raised. In 2000, Londa and Bud moved to Zionsville, IN to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Londa enjoyed reading, travelling, and loved spending time with her family. Londa was a
loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother and was a dear friend to those who knew her.
Londa was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Cantrell; her father James McKinsey; her
step-father Burnell Jones; and her brother Robert McKinsey. Londa is survived by her son,
Jason Cantrell and his wife Debra, along with her daughter Julie Gilbert and her husband Tim.
She is also survived by her mother, Margaret Jones; her sisters Patty Scott and Sandy Farish; and
her grandchildren AJ and Katie Cantrell.
Visitation will be at Flanner and Buchanan Zionsville Funeral Center, 105 W. Pine, on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 pm. At Londa's request, funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zionsville Youth Baseball, c/o Jason Cantrell, 9426 Greenthread Ln., Zionsville, IN 46077
