Marie (Lola) Fulton

Indianapolis – Marie Everling Fulton, age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 29, 2019.  She was born on July 9, 1929 in Elwood, Indiana. Growing up during the Great Depression, she shared many stories of how times were lean, but they always had what they needed most which was each other.  The family moved to Indianapolis prior to WWII where she graduated from Washington High School.  

In 1948 she married Clyde T. (Bill) Fulton for eternity.  He passed away in 1995 and they are together again now.  They raised their three children in Indianapolis and spent many summers up at Lake Webster, Indiana hosting all their family and friends.  Marie worked at L.S. Ayers downtown in the Gift Wrap department for many years.  She was a life long member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 500 and always supported Veteran causes because her father, husband, son, sister, brother, and nephew served in the Marines, Navy and Army.

She is survived by five grandchildren including Andrea (James) Galvan, Matthew (Melissa) Beaumont, Jennifer (Mike) Haas, Shannon (J.B.) Goode and Kaitlin Walker and ten great grandchildren including Isaac & Abby Beaumont, Emily & Brandon Haas, Nicholas, Victoria, Kimiko, Brandon and Tim Galvan and Ryleigh Goode and several nieces and nephews including Maria, Ava & Emma Zigmunt, Loren Hayes, Raymond Everling Jr., Kandy Wiley, Angel Reed, Tina Everling and Beth Smith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey & Margaret Everling, her husband, Clyde T. Fulton Jr., and her three children, Joanna Beaumont, Clyde (Tom) T. Fulton III and Diane Cloud, grandson, Chad Herald, her sister Joan Maloney, and her brothers Melvin Everling and Raymond Everling.

Services will be held on Friday February 1st at 2pm at Washington Park North Cemetery – Great Hall Chapel.  2706 Kessler Blvd. W. Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46228
