Lois Shonkwiler

Lois Lavonne Shonkwiler, of Fishers, died September 14, 2010. She was born in Campbellsburg, IN to the late Guy C. and Ide Rosenbaum. Lois began her career Professional Cosmetologist and later went on to be co-owner of Parr Lance Ambulance Service, with her husband Lloyd. She was a long-time member of East 91st Christian Church, the Eastern Star, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd L. Shonkwiler and son, Mikel Shonkwiler. Lois is survived by her daughter, Lori (husband Bill) Smith; grandsons, James and Joseph Shonkwiler; granddaughters, Emma Hanna and Jenna Smith; Mikel’s widow, Nancy Shonkwiler; grandchildren, Karin Johnston and Randy Richardson, and sister, Iola Schmink. Funeral Services will be 11a.m. Friday, September 17 at East 91st Street Christian Church, where friends may call two hours prior to the time of service.
